| Heading to the Bahamas on a cruise? You could probably use some Bahamas cruise information. You can never have too much info really, so let's get started. A one day Bahamas cruise with the Discovery cruise line is a cheap, fun way to visit the islands. For as little as $50 you get: All-you-can-eat buffet breakfast & lunch on the way to Grand Bahama. Spacious sun decks & pool. Indoor and outdoor games, bars, entertainment & shows. A Las Vegas Rules style Casino with slots and table games including Craps, Blackjack & Roulette. A video arcade. Live music & dancing. All-you-can-eat buffet dinner on your return cruise to South Florida. 3 hours to enjoy Grand Bahama Island. Not bad for $50 huh? Carnival cruise line offers a great three day trip to the Bahamas. For as little as $350 you can sail on the Carnival Fascination ship. You'll be captivated by life aboard the "Fun Ship" Carnival Fascination. She boasts a lively array of eateries, lounges, nightclubs and fun-filled onboard activities. Relax and rejuvenate at Spa Carnival or test your luck in the friendly casino. Book your cruise and spend three or four magical days cruising aboard the Carnival Fascination. It's a great trip on a beautiful ship. Good times are guaranteed! Once you make it to the Bahamas you won't be disappointed. Head for these laid-back islands on casual Bahamas cruises, most of which depart from Florida. Cruise to the Bahamas and you'll find pretty beaches, good snorkeling and opportunities for water-skiing, parasailing, jet skiing, windsurfing and more. Cruises to the Bahamas also offer colorful artwork, spirited dances and lively music. Nassau's duty-free shopping and famous straw market lure shoppers in search of handicrafts. At night, many Bahamas cruise passengers go ashore to try their luck at resort casinos. Anyone in search of the perfect beach might very well start with the Islands of The Bahamas, whose relatively small land mass belies the sheer quantity of its beachfront. With the vast majority of the islands shaped like slivers, one imagines two gorgeous stretches of beach separated by the most perfunctory of inlands. And indeed they are--gorgeous, that is. There won't be any motorboats or crowds, so you can enjoy the most subtle nuance of the surf's music in peace. Look to either side of you--the only colors in the world will be infinitely varied shades of blue, green and white. Beaches are of two types in The Bahamas--the activity beach and the deserted beach. On an activity beach, of which Cable Beach in Nassau is the prime example, you'll find tons of things to do, and every service will be at your fingertips. Water-skiing, windsurfing, diving, fishing, sailing, parasailing, seaside restaurants, beach bars, local entertainment--if you can think of it, you'll probably find it here. On the other hand, you won't be able to find any of that on the deserted beaches--but then, that's the whole idea. About 80 percent of the beaches of The Bahamas, if not more, are isolated: meandering ranges of virgin sand, warm under your bare feet. Most beaches are pristine and unbelievably white, with sand so fine it feels soft to the touch. Those in search of something really special should check out Harbour Island's rose-colored sands, off the coast of Eleuthera. The beaches of The Bahamas are often coupled with shallow transparent water for hundreds of yards out to sea, rising gently to sandbars before finally dropping into the depths. You will have a great time. I hope this Bahamas cruise information was helpful. Don't forget to also check out some information on a Jamaica cruise review, and the Sandals Royal Caribbean review that is just great. Have fun! |
