GAC made my trip prefect -- no health issues!

Hi. I just wanted to share how wonderful the GAC is, and to urge people with medical problems to go ahead and get a GAC because it can make the difference between a great vacation and a miserable one. I have one of those hidden diseases (idiopathic anaphylaxis) which can actually be fatal if my symptoms are triggered. I look perfectly healthy, but one of my main triggers is heat (yes, Florida sun is HOT!), so I always get the GAC to minimize my time standing in line. I am so grateful that Disney actually cares about its guests, because without this pass, I could not bring my children to Disney because I would end up in the ER. We just returned from a Spring Break vacation to Disney, and it was absolutely wonderful. I never got ill once or even felt poorly. That is a huge thing for me! The guest relations cast members were very sweet about giving me the pass, and we were always sent to the handicapped or fast pass entrance at every ride, which made a huge difference as that kept me in the air conditioning more than standing in line in the heat. So, if you are debating whether the pass is worth it to help you with your medical condition, definitely get it. Also, I never had people looking at me strangely because I was able to bypass the lines but wasn't in a wheelchair. I suppose they could have thought I was a VIP or something. LOL
