| I was flying just this Thursday on AS 314 from SEA to SFO in first and I had one of the best in flight services ever. Our FA was called Chris and she was just plain brilliant. I presume she was running the fore cabin because she did all the PAs for the flight as well as serving us in first. She came around offering is pre-flight drinks, addressed me by my first name (I much prefer that to Mr Tony2X) and personally welcomed me aboard. Lovely touch. Then she bought me my diet cream soda (and her delicious version of an Orange Creamsicle!) and a cheese plate. We engaged in a little light conversation about my 9 week old Bulldog puppy and then Chris went about the rest of the service. The best bit, and such a small little detail is that she came around the cabin shook each pax by the hand and thanked them for flying with Alaska. I had such a big smile on my face, air travel can be so miserable these days but with Chris and all the others like her it makes it an absolute joy! How does one go about recognising such great service, is it just a letter to Alaska Airlines? |
