| Thinking about using some of the miles currently in my account for a flight to TLV with my partner. As finances are not good right now, I was thinking on buying one of the flights using airmiles, with no tax to pay and flying bmi metal. The second one to be a bmi DC miles redemption, with the usual almost 200 quid in tax. Before getting a headache regarding flying award bmi availability at a particular time and match it to the schedules that airmiles.co.uk has got to offer, can anyone explain me whether it would be possible for me to use my bmi miles to get my partner's flight? We are not married, so no common surname in that sense. I was thinking that even if this goes against redemption T&C, I could try to soften them down by giving them the PNR I would obviously get by reserving through airmiles.co.uk the other flight. I am already aware of the chances of getting different seat rows, etc, but willing to put up with the inconvenience as long as I could save some hundreds of pounds. Hope this all makes sense, any other queries just fire away please. |
