| Ok, so I just jumped on the UA ORD-LHR deal as discussed in the MR forum, and I have a couple questions. I know UA is moving to T1 at LHR. I plan on buying a one way ticket to ARN on SK soon, and I'm seeking confirmation on a couple things. a) UA can, in fact, interline my bags with SK so I don't have to clear customs at LHR, and can just go to a transfer desk to get my SK boarding pass, right? b) As far as lounge access goes, I should have entry to the new *A arrivals lounge in T1, and then either the SQ or London Lounge in T3 for my connecting SK flight, correct? c) One guest only, as a *G? d) I have a choice on times for my LHR-ARN flight, and was leaning towards the 10:35 flight. I get into LHR at 6:20. Since I'm on two different tickets and the airline won't be liable if I miss my flight, am I safe doing the 10:30 flight? Or should I spend a little more time in the lounge and book the 13:50 flight? e) I'm taking an LCC back to London to spend a couple days with friends, so on my return flight, will I only have access to the *A departure lounge in T1? Thanks very much in advance. Chris |
