Disney World once a year during Thanksgiving week. But this year it is all different. After a friend turned me onto the free dining promotion, I begged and pleaded to go in September. My DH gave in and now we are leaving in 30 days!! We chose to go during the week of Labor Day so the kids only miss 4 days of school instead of 5. We fly out on August 30th and get home on Sept 7th. But, BONUS, it will be my oldest daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday on Sept 5th! I had fun with this. We have our normal breakfast on day one at the Crystal Palace and a lunch during the week at Prime Time Café. But, I asked her to pick her birthday meal. She chose Akershus Banquet Hall, she likes the good looking Norwegians. So I made that as a breakfast on September 5th, her birthday. But, I also planned a dinner at 1900 Park Fare. We have bought the whole family shirts with Cinderella on them. We heard that Lady Tremaine and the step-sisters will give them a hard time for that. I thought I was good to go. Then, it happened. I got on my favorite message board and saw it. MNSSHP dates, the first one on her birthday!! OMG!! We have never been able to go to any extra ticket events before. I so called and bought tickets, but the kids have no idea. That is the best feeling to have that a secret for so long. I am looking forward to it.So here I stand, 30 days out and I want to leave now!! Yet I haven’t even packed! I have never waited so long to pack before. I am going to buckle down, if I can get away from this computer.
