Either AA or CX canceled my reservation-they blame each other I currently have two AA award tickets MCI-DFW-YVR-HKG-HKT in J that I have had ticketed since January.Originally we were on CX 835 YVR-HKG, but on June 5 CX dropped that flight and we were ticketed on to CX 889. I called CX on June 6 and got new seat assignments. Today I called CX to inquire about changing the seats and was told that on my reservation only, CX 889 only had been canceled on June 5 by a message from AA. I look on the AA web site at my reservation and it is there, showing ticketed. I call AA and they tell me I am confirmed and ticketed. I call CX back and they insist that being ticketed is not being confirmed, that my reservation on 889 of this 4 flight segment ticket was canceled.I still have a reservation on HKG-HKT. CX says AA has to call them. So I call AA to ask them to call CX. AA says they did. I go out, come home 4 hours later, call both airlines and neither one has done anything or heard from the other. They each say the other messed things up. I've been calling back and forth for 7 hours now and still do not know if I am back on CX 889. I have sent an email to Aadvantage customer service about this and am waiting for one of the airlines to call me back as they both said they would to confirm this problem has been fixed.
How do I get this solved? I just want to know I'll be going on vacation with my husband. |
