Me!! Me!! Pick ME!! And, they made a stop at a LOT of our neighbor's homes. There was a rash of vehicle break-ins last night. They took some stuff out of DH's truck, but doesn't appear to be anything missing from my van (DH says how could I tell - it's trashed with kids' stuff). We DID find a remote for a garage door on the pavement by my driver's door. NOT our remote!! There have been no reports so far of a remote missing, so the Sheriff is driving up and down the street - hitting' the button, watching for the doors to open!! Sheriff said it's gotten really bad in the last few weeks. And, they have someone in custody as of this AM. And, it's some teen boys (I TOLD DH that's who it was). Of course, they had to hit the night we both forgot to lock our vehicles!! I almost never forget, but the kids carried in groceries last night and I got distracted. Oh - and now I know why it's a good idea to keep your public area of the house clean, clean, clean!! My family room is a wreck, but the formal living room is sparklin'!! Sheriff stayed in the LR.
