| AH!~ Alas, the inevitable is finally here. The last long weekend that harbingers the end of summer: Labor Day Weekend. It is the weekend when most people go to the beach one last time, have a picnic or cook out one last time and wear white one last time. {Although "yours-truly" lives in Florida so it is kinda sorta anti-climatic}. The next holiday is Thanksgiving and you know that usually envolves involuntary family gatherings accompanied by heaps of drama... My question is this. It has been a summer of record breaking gas prices, outrageously expensive plane tickets, high food costs (gallon of milk is $3.90~ I am switching to soy milk), SO, and this is a HUGE "SO", WHAT are YOU doing this labor day weekend? Flying? Driving? Train? Ship? or just staying home. I finally get a break after 7 weeks of non-stop traveling so I am SO gonna veg out. Bummer, the Olympics are over, but I intend to watch every movie I bought and have not opened (15+) and watch everything on my DVR (65 hours +) and SLEEP!!! (oh yeah...and clean out my personal mailbox with 495 e-mails ~ most of them not junk...my bad...) Hope you are going some where fun, with someone nice, to do awesome things! Do tell!!! <I think we are supposed to stay away from Denver and New Orleans, right?> Safe Travels and happy Labor Day Weekend! |
