| I was trying to book an Advantage award, and wanted to make a "connection", what i thought was a maximum 24 hours permitted to be considered a "connection", but the AA agent told me the new rules is that it's SIX hours, then I must take the "first available flight". Is this accurate for international itineraries? ALSO, the agent said I couldn't take a flight Miami/Los Angeles/Tokyo/Bangkok, as on that routing, DALLAS was the "natural connnection point" , and I could not make a connection or stopover in Los Angeles, (with a routing from Miami to Bangkok). I explained their partner Japan Airlines had nonstops from LA to Tokyo, and AA had nonstops MIAMI to Los Angeles. Does this sound accurate? |
