Just got back from the ER I got a call from my friend around 7 that Kylor had broken his arm. I rushed over there and his lower arm was crooked. He was standing there holding it. My friend put a makeshift splint on it and we drove the verrrry loooong 25 miles to the hospital while he sat in the back seat. Poor guy. He was such a trooper, though. He even said at one point 'I thought a broken bone would hurt worst that this' Anyway, we get to the ER. He had a complete break of both bones in his lower arm. They give him the drugs to try to reset the bones, do x-rays, bones still aren't together. Do a second reset, still no dice. So he has to go have surgery on Monday now to put plates in his arm :( Poor guy. I couldn't believe how brave and strong he is for 12. Every time the doctor/nurse would ask him how he was he would say 'good'. Never even cried. I told him I would've been lying on the ground screaming and crying if it had been me. Not standing there holding my hand. And what was he most worried about the whole time? Missing out on basketball season this year :( |
